The purpose of this association is to support, promote and engage the practice of Nurse Anesthesiology in the Nigerian community in the USA and beyond.

We are committed to creating meaningful approaches to networking. This group allows us to support and empower each other, build alliances with existing organizations, and create opportunities for personal and professional growth. Also, NANNA serves to provide the tools and resources to raise awareness in anesthesia among our members, as well as developing initiatives to enrich our connections.

Objectives

  1. Provide scholarships to student members who demonstrate outstanding academic excellence
  2. Engage in a medical mission to help underdeveloped countries, especially Nigeria
  3. Create awareness on current issues in anesthesia practice both in the US and in Nigeria
  4. Collaborate with other National Associations that are dedicated to improving global health care.
  5. Mentor aspiring CRNAs on the necessary requirements for graduate studies, as well as ways to distinguish oneself from other applicants.
  6. Survival skills in Anesthesia school and practice sites
  7. Financial freedom and management of a business or personal assets such as debt reduction, financial liberation, and much more.
  8. Celebrate members success collectively
  9. Yearly awards presentation to active members in the NANAA community.
